And now for something completely different...

Things I put on my face in the morning that I love (in order):

1. Philosophy Purity Made Simple (ok I rinse this off immediately 'cause it's cleanser, but still)
2. Philosophy Hope in a Tube, under my eyes. Reduces dark circles and puffiness and little lines that only I can see anyway
3. Philosophy Hope in a Bottle and/or Hope in a Jar (the Jar kind on dry spots)
4. Shiseido "Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF 55 PA+++" -- don't know what the PA+++ is for though, but this is the only sunblock that does run into my eyes and sting like a mofo, plus it doesn't make me shiny and doesn't have much of a smell
5. Clinique Almost Powder SPF 15 (SPF comes in handy when I'm lazy and skip the Shiseido), in either Fair or Neutral Fair (I forget)
6. Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Brunette, 'cause no one else needs to know how unimpressive my eyebrows are. But I'm about to run out of the sample I've been using...
7. Benefit Dandelion, which is really pretty pink powder that magically makes me look younger and more awake
8. Too Faced Lash Injection Pin Point, which is fabulous and pretty much stays put all day

Other things I sometimes add or substitute:

• The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in Bronze, for when I want to look more "made up" or tanner than just with Dandelion
• When I run out of the Anastasia brow stuff I'll go back to using Clinique Brow Shaper in Shaping Taupe until I get around to buying more
• Different mascaras for different purposes: Blinc Kiss Me for days when it's raining or I expect to cry -- this stuff does not budge, but doesn't look as good as the Lash Injection; Benefit BADGal for times when it only has to stay put for an hour or two -- this is my most dramatic mascara, but it smudges under my eyes and looks gross after a couple hours

Plus some kind of lip something; often Clinique Long Last Soft Shine Lipstick in Beauty or Burt's Bees lipstick that they apparently don't make anymore -- the color I have is called Honesty but they changed the names a few years ago and I don't know what it was called right before they ... stopped making it... so I guess that's irrelevant anyway. I also have a little set of Smashbox lip glosses; I'm partial to Blur and Finale. I got this at Costco. Sometimes though I just use a tinted balm that hopefully I'll be able to find again when I run out -- Savannah Bee Company in Tinted Blackberry or Tinted Tupelo Honey (which Reuben says smells like horse poop, but it doesn't). I bought that originally at Bath and Body Works but it looks like they don't carry it anymore.

Fascinating, right? And please nobody do the math.
