It gets weirder

A couple of things don't add up, following the burglary. One thing is that it seems that the entry and exit probably happened through the back sliding glass door, with someone jumping over the wall and then leaving the same way. In that case, why are the two netflixes that I had in the mailbox missing? They were in the box that day, so it would be an extreme coincidence if they were to disappear in the mail the same day. That implies that someone was out front.

Second, I discovered on Saturday that someone had stolen the power-interrupt from the subpanel that feeds my AC compressor. It's a $5 part; it has no street value at all. There's barely even any copper in it. However, they are impossible to match with currently made parts, so I had to replace the whole subpanel. Could someone in the tract have needed the part, so they just came to take mine? On the same week as the break-in? Seems fishy. Fishy indeed, dear readers.
